Ever visited a wedding so joyful, you wish it was your own? Meike & Robbert got married in the woods, surrounded by many many many friends and family. They couldn't stop kissing each other, it was so easy to photograph these two lovebirds. I convinced them to leave dessert during diner, to shoot a few 'golden hour' photos. O boy, we all were so happy we did.

I knew Lisa's family for quite some time already, so I was very honored they ask me to shoot their wedding. It was a bloody hot day, sometimes emotional, but above all gorgeous and a true feast! I stayed unplanned till the end and went home a little tipsy, happy and inspired. Location: Van Aken in het Werkwarenhuis

Remember Robin & Sjef? Sjef asked Robin to marry him during Carnaval 2017 in the house of Amadeiro. In the hot summer of 2018, with their babygirl Bo born, (she was 10-weeks pregnant at the time of the proposal) it finally was time for them to say 'yes' in the forest. Location: Meneer van Eijck

Huwelijksaanzoek Robin & Sjef
25 Februari was een hele bijzondere dag. Terwijl de rest van Oeteldonk zich klaarstoomde voor weer een dag Carnaval, werd er in de Spiegeltent op de Parade iets speciaals opgebouwd. In alle vroegte was Sjef, samen met vrienden en familie, bezig met het klaarmaken van zijn huwelijksaanzoek. Robin had ooit gezegd dat, als ze ooit ten huwelijk gevraagd zou worden, dat dan wel grappig zou vinden als dat tijdens Carnaval zou gebeuren. Zo geschiedde, jaren later, op deze Carnavals-zaterdag, om en nabij 11 over 11. Nietsvermoedend kwam ze met vriendin binnen, waar al haar geliefden in opwachting stonden. Sjef was zo emotioneel, dat er weinig van zijn speech overbleef, en het lukte hem nét om: ' Lieverd, wil je met mij trouwen?' te zeggen. Tranen vlogen in het rond, evenals ladingen confetti. Nog nooit was Carnaval zo onvergetelijk.
Renske & Dennis
This was a wedding day true to my heart. Renske and Dennis did absolutely everything to make the day feel loving, warm (literately), personal, tender and with tons of beautiful details. They celebrated a weekend long in the forest near Eindhoven. If someone's ever gonna pop the question to me, this is the day I'm thinking of when I'm planning my own. Thanks Renske & Dennis for this wonderful day! It was an honor to be part of it.
